Additionally, the removable hardtop can be a little tedious to remove. The other nice touch from Ford is the addition of a 5-speed automatic even the Mustangs from the same year didn't get that. This is the perfect amount for this little car, as it was never meant to be a high-horsepower street machine. The dual overhead cam engine left the factory with a modest 280hp. This car is clean enough to stand tall at a local car show with the doors open and top down. The factory radio hasn't been ripped out for a cheesy aftermarket player and the dash is free of any splits or cracks.
The black leather seats show very little creasing and no tears at all. INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition is nothing short of near perfect condition just as it left the factory. There are very few imperfections to be seen, and it's clear that the previous owners have meticulously cared for this car. As best we can tell, this Thunderbird appears to be wearing all the original paint, and stands tall today in our showroom. PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Is there a better color choice then Evening Black on black interior with a black soft and hard top? Seeing this one in person had made us all believe that this is the best color combo you could have purchased. This car is a near time capsule to the early 2000s retro styling. Even on the lift you'd be hard pressed to find any imperfections in the paint and body work. Near perfect car to cruise in down the highway or store away as a future collectible.īODY OVERVIEW: The body is clean and straight, and is exactly what you would expect from a car with this low of mileage.
